Buff and Debuff

Buffs

In Girl Cafe Gun, buffs are used to increase character’s statics or skills. Most of the buffs are obtained from character cards’ passive/active skills or weapon’s passive skills.

  • Character Cards’ active skill: Buffs can be obtained after activating active skills. Usually, this kind of buff has a short duration and needs to be reactivated again to maintain the buff. Please note that between activation of active skills there exists a cooldown period.
  • Character Cards’ passive skill: Buffs can be obtained without activating any active skills. Passive skill will either buff of the character herself or the entire team members. This also includes the resistant skills.
  • Weapons’ passive skill: Buffs can be obtained by equipping the weapon to character cards. Passive skill will either buff the character herself or the entire team members.

Debuffs

Debuffing enemy is another way to weaken enemy efficiently, by using character’s active skill or weapon’s passive.  Unlike buffs, some enemies will immune against debuffs, such as Elite enemies or bosses. Therefore, knowing the enemies’ weakness before debuffing them is the best way to clear stages.

Debuffs may also be applied by enemies to Girls, to avoid them you may dispatch character cards that have resistance towards these debuffs (ususlly the last passive skill).
