Banner Rating “Beacon Between the Stars and Dusts” (Limited – Children’s Day)

Hope you saved up your Earth Coins! It’s a Limited Banner and these two lovely ladies are amazing. Rated highly in CN, both Floral Times Wuxia and Innocent Days Juno might be worth every pull you can afford if you’re a top datadrill contender. Otherwise, the limited artwork is amazing as always, and they include smol Wuyou and smol Rococo too!
tl;dr:
Floral Times Wuxia – S (dethrone Casual Moon?)
Innocent Days Juno – S (Mech Girls Star Eksistere?), has stronger potential in the future when BiS sniper is released.
S: Floral Times Wuxia (Erosive – Firepower – Pistol)
回忆滋味·时无瑕 – lit. Reminiscing – Shi Wuxia

Active Skill (24s cd): “Spoon of Delicacy” – Buffs auto-attack (aa) by 110% dmg, aa crit rate by 62%, 3s cast time, lasts 7s
Very similar skill to Casual Moon (+83% dmg, +62.3% crit rate, also 24s cd), granted Casual Moon is a Shotgun user vs Pistol User for this dress.
Very similar numbers, let’s continue…
3s cast time will take a little getting used to, but if you’ve used Casual Moon her cast time was ~1.5-1.7s.
Based on a damage calculator, Wuxia’s aa dps = ~20000% dps, while moon would be at 21160% dps, if all 5 shotgun pellets hit.
Passive 1: In the absence of a kill counter (kill count = 0), stack 4% aspd per second, up to 10 stacks for a total of +40%aspd
This sets Wuxia as an dd-output only unit, and even then it’s only Allocer in our current content. You wouldn’t be able to use Wuxia for dd-effiBoss (quick boss kill) since the ramping up is dependent on time. Still 40% aspd buff is nothing to scoff at, especially when it means you can proc Laser Pistol Passive even quicker.
Casual Moon’s passive is a little easier to active, on crit +6.1% dmg, up to 5 stacks for a total +30.5%dmg.
Passive 2: aa +26.9% dmg, if your team has Shi Wuyou, Wuyou’s aa +10% dmg
Given a lv70 Laser Pistol’s aa dmg of 63.6% dmg, +26.9% dmg is pretty respectable. Plus giving Wuyou some sisterly love she so desires.
Casual Moon’s passive in contrast is +10.9%dmg with shields, +8.2% crit without shields, the former being better.
If it’s not obvious enough, this is the game’s attempt at finally dethroning the Single Target DPS queen that is Casual Moon, which is a 3* mind you. If we take all both girl’s active skill and passives all together, dmg calc shows Wuxia doing 31600% dps vs Moon’s 25945% dps, essentially having Wuxia edging out in total damage by ~21.7%.
The next fun part, if you’re not using Casual Moon for Allocer, that means you can now bring out Azure Wings Moon to widen the damage gap and double the Laser Pistol fun! Perhaps you bring Oath Irene along and now you’re running triple Laser Pistol, granted this is talking whale/dolphin territory.
Overall, how much do you care about the 20% extra damage for just Allocer in dd-output? Will there be other bosses where you can user her? Is it fair to compare a 3* that’s easy to awaken to a Limited 4*? I’m hesitant to rate this Wuxia higher than Casual Moon since Casual Moon can still be used in dd-effiSpec/effiBoss. Without Passive 1 (no kill count) Casual Moon will deal 15% more dmg.
Realistically, Children’s Day Wuxia is only worth pulling if you’re really chasing that crown spot in datadrills. Perhaps this will edge you over that 3% or 10% bracket! For the rest of us with loli fever on Princess Island, she’s soooooo smol and cuteeeeee and she’s must pull AHHHHHHHH.
S: Innocent Days Juno (Mech – Firepower – Sniper Rifle)
昨日星光·朱诺 – lit. Fleeting Starlight – Juno

Active Skill: (15s cd): “Flash of Light” 1919% aoe dmg
Very similar skill to Girls Star Eksistere (1727.%, also 15s cd), shotgun user but that’s not too important.
Very similar numbers, let’s continue…
Passive 1: on “Flash of Light” kills, deal 90%dmg to 3 nearby enemies with the highest HP.
Very similar skill to Girls Star Eksistere’s passive 2 (96.4% dmg on kills to 1 nearby enemy)
I’m sensing a pattern here…
Passive 2: +23.6% skill dmg, if your team setup includes Rococo (either Main/Support slots), add an additional 10% skill dmg
+33.6% skill dmg, very nice. gs eksi’s passive 1 allows her to do +20.4% dmg (aa and skill).
hmmmm…
You know when your buddy told you don’t make the homework you copied from them too obvious? Well this time Juno’s a Mech copy of Girls Star Eksistere with slightly better numbers and passives. Where ever Eksi can be used, you can use Juno. (Merc. Wager, Phantom Vanguard, dd-effiAnni/effiSpec).
Can she dethrone the other Mech aoe queen that is Party Dress Cornelia (Oath Nellie)? What Juno offers in raw numbers and cd, Nellie offers cc and again, ease of access via Fantasy Oath. The Best-in-slot sniper rifle for Juno (Duke of York) has yet to be released in Global and will not be in the upcoming banner, while Nellie can choose between Frontline Warrior/Call of Victory/Winter Diffuser, depending on the situation.
“Duke of York” (约克公爵) – each kill increases unit dmg by 3% (3.5% at lvl 80), stacks up to 10 times, lasts 3 seconds, each proc refreshes timer.
The 15s cd means Juno might be more ideal in effiAnni/effiSpec, but Oath Nellie can still be used in dd-output for Faust, if baiting to the corner. Similar comparison as Wuxia and Moon above. Nellie being able to be fully awakened using Fantasy Oath mats, vs a Limited 4* gives her a slight edge. In reality, the boundary between Oath Nellie and the remaining S-tier Mech units is getting smaller, and I would consider moving Oath Nellie down to to S from SS (and by extension Oath Irene as well) Once Juno gets her BiS weapon I would even consider putting her at a higher tier than Oath Nellie, since she can be used in any context/anywhere as aoe dps.
Once again, if you’re a top dd contender, feeling lucky, and you’re willing to invest in a Limited 4* and fully awaken her, Children’s Day Juno is very much worth the pulls. If however, you want to invest in smol juno knowing that she’ll become a bombshell that loves to drink and tease Mr. Manager, you know what to do!
